seriously
the game is infinitely better when you are part of an army of @#$%@#s
Really though. First day I played it I thought it sucked because it was just *#$@ing around with me and Hellsyng. When I joined squads that were actually doing @#(! it was a lot better. And the certs just pour in.

I'd just like to thank Vir for making me an honorary goon. Playing in a huge multi-platoon army with those guys is a blast.
I've been focusing my certs on my Sunderer so far, I figure spawn points and resupply pays for itself in the long run. Anything else like that I should by buying? Not sure how to cost-effectively upgrade my engineer either - dropped ammo brings in the certs, but I'm not sure a larger radius is worth it when other people tend to drop ammo in the same general areas I do.

I mean, I'd say to focus certs on the sundy rather than the eng, because the engy's most useful part is the nano-tool. I like tanks myself, so when I do anything with my engineer it's improving repair speed so I can hopefully repair my tank faster than it can get shot at in long range fights.

engi repair tool is amazing, also dump certs into the GD-7F - suppressor, laser sight, 2x reflex scope - as it is the best carbine in the game. AT mines are also absolutely incredible. would also recommend getting flak armor
would also recommend certing gate shield diffuser for sunderbus, blockade armor (mine guard is bugged atm and does nothing i think), stealth is also useful, and 2x bulldogs are probably the best weapons you can put on it
i also highly recommend picking up the HE or HEAT cannon for the lightning, irnv scope for whichever one of those you get, and max ammo capacity

I cant wait to play this game, but my 600$ laptop is pushing 3 years now. Planning on picking up a new one in Jan.
I remember playing Planetside the first maybe 4 years ago. I remember paying like 5-10$ for this hack program that gave me super x-ray vision (through stealth), uber fast firing rate, and super fast running speed.
I hope Sony has fixed the exploit problem, i remember exploiting in plain sight of other people but it was so common people were like "meh"

Seems really really disorganised. Yes I'm not playing as part of some huge goonsquad but most of the battles seem to be who has the bigger numbers, it's hard to find an evenly matched battle and the quick respawning means death isn't too much off a hindrance so it becomes a massive meat grinder so superior numbers wins over superior skill.
Pretty much when looking on the map it's like one huge army will be steam-rolling one area while the other factions have their huge armies steam rolling other areas so it becomes a massive circle jerk.
I suppose if anyone has a chance of total victory it will be the goons with their overwhelming numbers.

Is it even possible to take the gate and fully expel a faction?
