I don't see a problem with adding this ability. As long as its something thats controllable by core files. I.E. Current nan implementation should not restore energy, otherwise Bios are now unstoppable.

Having a 'Target Energy' thing for all weapons would be pretty nifty, especially for EMP guns/missiles.

If there was a "Nan 3" and it can repair shields...

Lets say you were TF vs HTT's...You get 3 perma dual nan scouts nanning the shields...making it impossible to HTT...

I say no because there is no visible indicator of the energy of other pilots. EG, you can't tell who needs energy and who has lots of it.

I honestly think 5 seconds is a lot of time if your playing against a good team. Within 5 seconds a smart person would ram the bomber out of the path...giving nans time to recharge...
