- About 5 hours ago a shooting occured on MIT Campus
- People started listening to the BPD police scanner.
- Officers were talking about a 7-11 robbery earlier where a gun was shown.
- Officer confirmed down at MIT campus, officer made it to hospital but has died.
- Reported Mercedes SUV hijacking, victim escaped and gave description to police
- Descriptions matched marathon bombers

- Police began to pursue the SUV not fully knowing who they were chasing
- The bombers began to fire upon the pursuing police
- They ended up in a residential neighbourhood
- Scanner lit up as officers began screaming they were under attack
- The bombers had automatic weapons, grenades, explosives
- One of the bombers (The tall one) was shot multiple times
- Supposedly detonated an explosive device on himself, was pronounced DOA at Beth Israel
- At some point they managed to steal a State Police truck

- White Cap from the FBI photos confirmed to have fled on foot
- Massive manhunt is ensuing
- White cap is confirmed to be Sunil, the missing brown student by police radio chatter ONLY, no other verification


- A perimeter has been set up around the area where he is believed to be
- The search continues
- 5 tactical teams deployed, they are going to search house to house, no orange coats

oh and apparently the bombers are brothers.

and some news people saying they are Chechens from Turkey... but they might be going down that speculation rabbit hole again.
