there is a "World War" thing planned. No details really about how it will be implemented so far. Although atm killing ground stuff its the most rewarding thing to do so i dunno what you are complaining about..

No one ever claimed arcade mode was "realistic". Its just most played.

Gotta love that 20k repair bill...

Decided to stick with warthunder until it bores me. Flying as chiveicrook. Mostly japs and brits in HBs and mostly bombers.
Pity it's a russian developer... most of the ideas will probably end up like WoT promises (world war, "release" trees etc.)

this game is awesome

in the beginning its kind of lame because you are forced to fly crap

but, if you stick with it, it gets better

i think it's gotten worse thanks to the changes in the economy model but still pretty fun if you aren't looking to grind but just fly some planes and have a good time

It's quite enjoyable flying as a squad. Even though Viscur keeps insisting on stealing all my kills.

It seems like finding a decent mid level plane is difficult though. Yak's are pretty terrible, AirCobras are hugely powerful but can barely stay above 200kph, maybe the higher level Spitfires may yield better success.
It's just when I fly the Yak or AirCobra, I think to myself, why am I flying this over some of the lower level stuff (Buffalo is hella fun).

Just got a joystick, there are very obvious problems with the joystick game code. I'd say it's just me, but there are hundreds of others talking about it, with things such as axis inversion at random, stupid @#(! like that.

admittedly I don't use the rudder very much at all
