Finished it last night, ending does talking to Sarif open? I accidentally didn't speak to him, so one of the 4 switches at the end wasn't available to me. The ending options (I saw) weren't as good as DX1 or imo DX2. The whole illuminati thing felt like it was wearing thin, though it is DX's thing. I'd say the reneging health wasn't too bad as it wasn't a quick as some games, and at least if showed you how much you had, and only 50% regenerates. (I carried a stock of painkillers about to use as health kits, but only used them in the earlier boss fights).
Strange how each of the bosses was easier to beat than the last though :/ Did anyone else have a problem where their controls were locked for a few seconds after the end of a cut scene? (most unhelpful as you end up standing there as the bosses open fire on you befoer you can move to take cover)
I had a bash at 100% stealth play yesterday too - not attacking anyone, sneaking past everything, quite good actually.

Anyhoo I bought it and within a half hour went *uninstall* wtf was the hype about anyway. After reading this thread it dawned on me it was "groundbbreaking", "innovative", and it couldn't possibly live up to the hype given what was happening is something now considered mundane in game play.

tl;dr It doesn't age well without the reasons it is so beloved (sort of like The Princess Bride, you have to be in the proper age range to think its the @#(!)
I played it probably 2(?) years ago and liked it, my only complaints were the graphics, made better by the graphics packs, though they couldn't do anything to fix the way the flash-light works. Once you get into it you don't really notice things like the graphics stuff.
Did you install any of the fan-made high-res graphic packs? They make it look nicer...

One thing I particularly remember is completing the training the wrong way - to get past the military robot I attacked it by throwing an explosive barrel at it. It worked in the sense it destroyed the robot, but it also blew my legs off, and I had to crawl with just my arms and torso to the end. It was quite amusing, though rather silly.

Game is playable on 600 x 800 all lowest graphic settings. and even then it's doesn't run well.
but I've made it through most of the game and it's gotten really repetitive and boring.
I started out hacking everything possible and now I've gotten to the point where I won't bother hacking anything unless it's absolutely necessary.
Even with all armor upgrades being under fire for any amount of time = death so it's duck and cover over and over again while health regens.

maybe if they patch it so it runs properly I'll run through it again with a stealth build and higher graphics settings.
