The middle button aka as the scroll wheel on my mouse is fubarred. The F3 zoom feature doesnt really work at all and playing on a lappie = pain in the ass to use the num pad
When entering a turret (the faction was: Lizard) the turret crazily loops about making you totally useless as a gunner. BTW it takes herculean efforts to stabilize it in order to shoot
total game play time 12 minutes and I didnt even whine about the other three minor issues
Honestly this feels like trolling cause I can NOT be the only one experinece the game play killing @#(!
Many of the stongest personalities in Allegiance claim to be "Devs" its now time to @#(! or get off the pot. Be a dev or make me a sammich
+1 on all this! There are also a few commands that don't work. I unfortunately can't tell you specifically as I no longer have the laptop, and it was a buntu box for months prior.
NOw since I have a setup that can actually access the game, I have a few things to say.
First, the point system needs to get reworked so that non-combat tasks are better compensated. I got a cashbox or two and was probing the other nite, goose egg for a score, and I have a (4). I have an extension to that 'KB Boost' that applies to this. Newbs should get even more for these tasks. I walked in that game, and HOME WAS NOT PROBED AT ALL...tsk tsk tsk (other side was even going tac iirc!). I try to be a good scout, or whatever role I manage to play (mostly scout due to skill and prefer noncombat some days). This and many other things need to be encouraged and guided during the games.
Also, is it at all possible for a couple of the vets to coach a newb even on the main game? I mean CMON, you have a resource here aching to be discovered. Some of them can be found to be decent at the stick, grab a couple extra noobs plus your assigned/volunteer team, and do some miner d or have them nan some bbr runs or smth. Take the less stellar ones (at the stick) and show them some good scoutage. Give them a role, and they will begin to ask questions about the rest and work to overcome their obstacles. EVERY ONE OF YOU can inspire a newb to never be a voob, and BE A CONTENDAH! I have met a few that helped and inspired me, like lyk (luved him on TS), mrc, nj, andon, and plenty of others. Look at me, with all that has happened, and I am still here trying! Think about that for a minute!!!
I work at a Papa John's again near me, and I'll be damned if I'll let a newb driver or even my managers be clueless. I was a driver for months before my car died and know my stuff. I take that stuff damn seriously, for mutual benefit. Not to be harsh, but if you can you can talk that talk on noat and the boards, you can walk them through and have them do their level best at emulating your success. Think of them as your kids OK? Would you do let them be ignorant and lost? $#@! NO.
