How many of you know who Hsharp was before he was in SysX?
Renegade Peon - a player who has been here longer than most of you but wasn't in any squads?

In fact if you look at our roster the majority of our players are old hand sysx or players for who sysx was their first squad such as:
compeller
andarvi
uberkill
Fever
bigrou
etc etc all who are also $#@!ing uber because SysX as a squad forces everyone to improve or DIE

And the funny thing is people don't join us because we are winning now - we have just as many applications now as we did when we were still getting whooped by xt and pk.

And you know what there are squads who are not as dominant as we are getting plenty of new members. SRM for example. This is probably due to the minimal annoying people they have in leadership positions which makes the squad very attractive to new people as opposed to some other squads where sl's and asl's spam their drivel on the forums and in game constantly.

I am truly sorry I spoke a word about anything that was not general public knowledge about ACE. Its not shocking or controversial. Needs no analysis by others on the worth or merit. So please continue waxing eloquently about pretty much nothing at all but leave my squad out of this entire matter. Who Im sure, without ask a soul, desire none of this attention, well meant or not, in this thread.

RT is a perfect example of why Ryjam is wrong. RT wasn't an elite squad, and now is almost certainly one of the top3 squads in allegiance (they're top3 in my accounting, others may view this differently). Also I'd like to point out that PK had a hand in what you are referring to as well.

As for requiring 50 actives to turn out 15, no. PK will gladly show nearly thirty to any game against an opponent that will show similar numbers. Since I've been here I can't remember a SysX vs PK game that's been LESS than 25 v 25, and we've been hovering around the 35 active rate for as long as I've been a member. RT also usually pulls big numbers from PK, as does SF (usually) and SRM. XT did last game and, now that they're more active, will probably continue to do so as well, but during last league we had a struggle getting 12 to show up.

It comes down to how much people like playing your squad. No one likes arranging their schedule to show up to a squadgame and find out, "Whoops, we're not playing." Whether that's because you showed 4 or you showed exactly 10 but your opponent showed 55 and has to sit their whole squad, that's just not fun.

As for why so many people join SysX and XT, it's because of two fundamental truths: 1) winning is fun, and 2) they're (mostly, of course) a pack of people who are fun to be around. Sure, there are probably people who switched squads to SysX because they are fair-weather fans, but honestly the best members of SysX are either ex-SRM who wanted to be with spidey again before SysX got to its uber status (Nuke and Xeretov) or are essentially home-grown, HSharp, Ramalgor or Raum (or both), Compellor, etc.

Oh yeah I meant to mention that I thought HSharp was always uber. He's been uber pretty much as long as I've been around, a joy to fly for and with and a pain in the ass to fly against.
