I find it REALLY funny that people are getting huffy about predictions.

You don't win sports pools by assuming that everything happens 100% as standings would suggest. There's variable risks that you need to take into account of some teams that have reasonable potential excelling in a pinch. (ie, although I consider PK better than XT, I'm calling for a surprize win by them assuming that Icky doesn't suck and Vegeta is back in time. :P To think about it statistically I'm betting on a longer shot, but with the point structure as is and most people voting PK to the finals, if that event doesn't happen my point score triumphs.)

So you are saying I should put spork winning the final?

Icky is being subjected to the same paces I put Broodwich through (me whoring him and calling him names until he gets pissed off and beats me). SissyX stands no chance.

kekek.

Taking the NHL into account, most of the winners of the stanley cup//teams that make it up through the ladder aren't the top team. There's a certain threshold where qualifiers come into play eg. 8th/16th v. 1st.

The way to score big on everyone playing the conservatively predictable statistical is to chance on longshots within reason, otherwise it's likely to be pretty much a 6 way draw near the top end. Aside from SysX going unbeaten ( :P ), what I think is going to happen is different from what I'm setting up here from a point structure perspective.

It is extremely unlikely that SysX will be unbeaten. Aarm is active and whupping ass again, and XT is resurging with a former SysX who knows how they operate and maybe, just maybe, how to counter them!

Also Fed knows how you guys play, assuming he can stop tweaking everyone's nipples long enough to get his squad approved!

If Sheff back and active again? He's not showing on the leaderboard as active in the last week.

Also, it's pretty widely acknowledged that I'm terrible, so you have been hoisted by your own petard, your majesty!
