Because the green door is on top, that's why it says
down

instead of

down
down

And now BV is thoroughly confused at the point of this post

I think Andon was asking, why not indicate the location of the door, rather than the direction you have to be flying in?

Although, I must admit, a base that fits
(red) down
(green) down
could have a very interesting shape...
