no nans = more escorts. with any team that knows how to aim and has enough coordination, each enemy int should only last 3 seconds.

Cheese seems to be a vital part of the entire concept behind nix bbr/htts so imho you can't really separate those two things. It is also obvious that trying to Bomb/HTT the traditional is not going to work out. Camping with superior fire power to achieve results with htt (with or without asslt base) looks like the only effective way I can think of using nix htt atm (apart from tp2). In addition to that who the hell spread this myth about Nix htts sucking in huge games? They are as overpowered in big games as they are in small ones if used correctly. (for example: say hello to a 3 gunner recap.. with the sneaky htt run you were setting up for 45minutes /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />)l1ngus wrote:QUOTE (l1ngus @ Jan 28 2008, 09:01 PM) The problem with nix is, that their bbrs and htts are underpowered in big games, but their whoringcheese (i.e. lazerblossoms) is nearly unbeatable. So a lot of long boring games happen, in which everybody is waiting until nix has some assaultbases and all the whoringcheese for 1000000$. Many times the nix-team is only able to cap or blow something, when they have enough cheese to camp the enemy techbases.
So you want a boring crapgame? Go nix!
There might be situations where you drop your shields for whatever reason but it seems a bit odd to try the traditional "allegiance like - sneaky htt approach" with Phoenix. Using tactics that require proper Nans with Phoenix is as effective as galving vs IC or buying cm2 vs Rix.WhiskeyGhost wrote:QUOTE (WhiskeyGhost @ Jan 28 2008, 09:13 PM) I concur, especially since Nix HTT's are essentially useless unless you drop shields, which is the only thing keeping them alive. Laser turrets are more cheese then blossoms though, they can shred most things easily and will win most fights as long as you aren't going through camped alephs.... /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Well: I would argue that unless your team is completely voobish it shouldnt be too hard to beat 'Nix in my opinion.gr4vity wrote:QUOTE (gr4vity @ Jan 29 2008, 02:35 PM) ps: spideycw: You have to admit that most proper commanded nix games turn out to be very frustrating and boring for the none-nix side.
Sorry, I meant no one good.Paradigm2 wrote:QUOTE (Paradigm2 @ Jan 29 2008, 04:51 PM) Lies, I've gone Nix against you.
