why do no pickup games are played on low money settings?

I have a question.
Do you really think anyone here needs or values your command advise? You've been around for two and a half days and you lack any insight into this game. Maybe you should stop posting long enough to actually learn something. There is the academy, and there are plenty of topics flaming stupid newbs. Both of these will be espicially usefull for you. Stop flying on the newbie server and you will lose this sense of knowing more than other people. Then fly for a few months, get over that phase for you think you are already as good as anyone playing, learn to be quiet, and then learn a bit about the game.
Stop $#@!ing posting.

althought narg is pretty blunt in his post and you might digress about the correct way of comunicating the fact that nobody cared about what you just said, i still agree with him on the concept. posting on this thread was something that probably hurt your reputation (this is what most probably affect you from now on), i hope not beyond suicide. please refrain from defending agaisnt flames directed to you, just edit the post with a "G_G" (not "." nor ",", those are already taken) and watch from outside untill you can contribute without the "just my two obnoxious noob cents.

this is not a flame, don't get me wrong, but please, don't post about something you clearly have no idea

Which I think is wrong. Everyone makes mistakes. Even being ignorant is a mistake. He is just a few day newbie, why should he lose his so called 'reputation' ? Well If I were you I would just laugh at his post, maybe post something stupid/funny. No way it should affect my opinion about the player when he becomes a competive player. But it's probably just me being over-tolerant.

yep, it's you being over tolerant.

i personally give a lot of chances to people to prove themselves, but this kind of "know it all" type of conduct with no purpose (i do this some times but only to hear a constructive criticism.) makes me puke. I'ts not late /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> you can still save your rep if you keep your mouth shut /ninja.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ninja:" border="0" alt="ninja.gif" />

Sigh. all i said was
QUOTE Not perfect but shows some are trying and it is possable to have fun with low money (more so when your just learning as dogfighting skills really develop when using rubbish tech as it takes longer to kill lol) Good aim practice[/quote]

I wasn't saying how goo dmy commanding skills were, all I was trying to get was a vet comm to say "hey that aint a bad start" and for me to prove that people CAN have fun EVEN as a N00B as I AM on low money settings.

Perfectly relivent! So stop hassleing me just because I'm trying to say that some n00bs are actually trying to do things right from the start.

And thank you others for saying what you said but I won't just go quietly when one know-it-all vet is trying to make it out that I'm trying to claim something I;m not.

Never said I was good, just said I was trying.

Now stop your yapping and start flying!
I decided to relive the days gone by in my new blog.

Vets don't follow orders just like newbies don't, but the vets do it better.

I read what Dorjan posted and thought "Not really relevant, he is just looking for an excuse to talk about the games he's playing because he's having so much fun and he wants to talk about them".

But of course we don't want to hear about some newb having fun, do we?

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

we all love people playing and having fun and stuff. next time you might want to post in rants instead of derailing a thread that was going quite well

giga on low money can be a pain in the ass... unless you have a team that can defend spec refs... you'd either have to stick with 1/2 miners and risk them being killed with a huge(for low $) cargo of he, or pull in pitiful amounts of cash at a time :/
