Dropping prox on a bomb run only lets the enemy get unpodded faster if you have like six guys doing it, one vet nanner to scout ahead and prox is enough to discourage rams/punish overboosters anyway, the rest of the noobs can nan, I'd have the vet gunners because turreting isn't as easy as it sounds.
Good turrets can make bombruns much smoother, as long as the nans actually nan the bomber. After all, a nan donut is still a nan donut whether a vet or a noob fires it.
