My first sector layout, haven't added alephs.
Woa, that one's prettier than mine, but mine is more insane and easier to get lost in!

That's a good map, though.

IB_.... WOW! Are you going to make it a maze or a honeycomb of alephs?

You know this could be almost a persistent game.. One game that would run for months.. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> you would need people to command and play in shifts.

Normally I honeycomb.

It's funny because I'm taking bacons insane idea and doing it seriously.

Might need a little moving around so you can see all the alephs.

Moved the outside sectors so you can see the alephs, it's less pretty, but I tend to go for practicality over looks.

We should use that one too... maybe have 2 games on March 17th? That one would be a completely different experience. Things would actually kinda make sense. Mine's just crazyness to the max, which is good too, but might get old pretty quickly.

Fair warning, though - I can see all of the aleph lines on mine in AME much like you can, but once I put it into the game, it was just a jumble of semi overlapping circles. You can still click on every sector just fine, though. And chances are people won't scout out all 100 sectors, so the map won't be that big.

You should make sectors not connect to adjacent sectors, so there's really no way to tell where you're going.

Edit:

Oh!! And start each team with around 10 garrisons with 10 corresponding tps, and have each of these garrisons be close to and enemy garrison so there can still be action early in the game.

TEH BACON REQUIRES TIME TO FINE TUNE HIS MAP, PLEASE RESPECT TEH BACON AND CEASE ABSURD SUGGESTIONS!!1

... but yeah, I'm totally doing all of that, except for the 10 garrisons bit. You should find each other pretty quickly, I think. And if not, who cares? There's 100 sectors to find!

Monneymonneymoneymoney...

I think scouts can get 500 points by just finding rocks in that map /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
