Right now auto-balance is optional. Just make it non-optional.

I trust you have a solution to the in-equal commander problem too.

Sure. Display the commander win/loss ratio in the game lobby, so everyone is aware of the skill differences.

Make the game not count if the difference between the commanders comm win/loss ratios exceeds a certain threshold.

Flingpu, you've been misled in here. That is NOT the correct "etiquette" for antistacking, as ranks are not yet truly reflective of your skill. There are people with extremely high ranks who are not worth a damn as players, and there are plenty of (0)s every day that we all immediately recognize as returning vets worth three of the average (15).

Here's the basic deal; until you can recognize which team is horrendously stacked, you should probably try to join the team that it seems everyone is waiting to join. This may well be the team with the smaller HELO.

After you've played for a couple months, you'll be able to instantaneously know which team is winning even sitting out in the lobby. Then you can decide to antistack, but you probably won't do any good yet.

After you become a vet, you'll be able to antistack, but you won't want to anymore. This is why we have stacking.
