just a note, version 3 of the page it AWESOME!

love the video idea, it's great and would allow you to swap it out with user made videos (i.e. record and edit a squad game) if they are good enough.

TA, I had it the way you describe in my 1st iteration more or less. Everybody said to do away with the link and just make the video there when the page loads =) Not saying you're wrong, but just that I'm getting "critiques" from every angle and don't be offended if I, uh, ignore you, hahahahahaha.

I do agree though that it's a bit too glitzy. I think it's the background and the buttons. I'm gonna try to tone them down a bit. Not completely -- we do need a bit of glitz -- but make it less busy. My buddy who gave me the "tab it all!" idea said that it was too "busy" and I agree. He said he liked the looks of the original page better, but liked the info on my page better. So I'll give it another go, perhaps, or I'll delegate to somebody who wants to help out =)

Anyone who's interested in having a website they've written (ie: html stuff. Not just pics of what HTML would look like), send me a PM to be included in the poll thing that will be thrown up.

I don't like the infighting going on in this topic, but if the end-result is a better homepage then I'm all for it
