yeah, i quite like the dominion people, seem nicer than the EU people /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> (ok, some aren't that bad)

i was thinking for voting for EU next month since we deprived them of a win this month, but i think i will vote for dominion next month because their nice /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

p.s. have the dominion people started voting for us, or have they just lost interest, looking at the graphs they seem to have slowed down :(

The EU people are fine, so are the Dominion people. Both games are decent depending on what you like. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

EDIT-

Looks like someone decided to down rate our game for pettyness, rate Allegiance (this step requires an account be registered) which is quick and easy. Feel free to rate other games too (here), but be fair. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

idiots, if anything we are going to LOSE players. We had the prime spot, the HIGHEST ranked game on the whole website at 9.8. We make game of the month once? Big deal, who cares. We might get a few more people. But in the end it doesn't really matter. People that go to the site are going to want to play highly rated games and are probably not even going to notice Allegiance except for right now and in February. People who look on the list of games in order starting with the highest rating would have seen Allegiance right away.

Now as some idiots here have voted the other games down when their rating isn't anywhere close to ours and idiots from Allegiance talking crap on their forum, they have started voting us down. At least one person just rated Allegiance a 2, surely from EU, and now we aren't near the top. Way to go. Being the highest rated game is much more important. I'm surprised they finally just put in their first rating of Allegiance. I'm sure more will follow.

Did IQs just drop sharply while I was away? /glare.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":glare:" border="0" alt="glare.gif" />

Very low ratings can be taken if it's obvious it's just harassment.

Is there a way to ask that that rating be removed? Their rating page says that low ratings with no explanations may be removed by an admin if they feel it is unwarranted.

I know this little "tiff" with EU is probably what caused this, but it can't hurt to ask them to check into this, can it? I'd do it, but I'm not sure how to go about doing that.

I might ask them to do so. I rated a few other games between nine and seven after testing so they might consider my input acceptable but if someone has a longer track record in there, as in before this little crusade began, s/he should probably do it instead.

Also, maybe campaign for a while to get the ratings base closer to 100+ from the present thirty odd so we'd be buffered against this kind of thing and put this site into the past. EU has it's share of adolescents too, maybe we should behave accordingly.

Just a thought: an alliance with Dominion to get them to vote us this month for a mild promise of votong them to top mext month.

I really don't want to have this thread here next month. Graah.

Ihave just put it forward to the admins to remove the rating as the rater is obviously not a player. I am waiting for a reply.

Well, for better or worse I sent them a polite e-mail asking them to review the review /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> We'll see what happens.

I seriously doubt the admins care to be bothered about that rating, I'd strongly recommend no one else bugs them. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

I rated almost 200 of their games this month (their top 40 games were all rated 10 by maybe a couple people), I gave the rating fairly and accurately, well, except in 2 cases where I made a mistake (EU should have been rated +2 higher, and Dominion -1 lower), anyway you can't change your ratings and the admins don't care to fix it. Such is life. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I tried to register on the forum when all this started to do just that, but they have never approved my account.
