pkk has every right to modify posts. He's the dev lead and as such, this is his sub-forum. Period.

pkk is also responsible (as we all are) to ensure that our community is safe from accusations, let alone prosecution, for copyright infringement or piracy. I'm not a lawyer, and I don't know who is right with regards to the subject at hand, but we have to protect ourselves at any rate. I see pkk's editing of your posts in keeping with that responsibility.

I'm sorry if that irks you in any way. I don't like censorship either however we do have the responsibility to keep our community safe from potentially harmful posts. Without knowing the exact status of the code in question, I think pkk is doing the right thing.

To move matters along, feel free to post that information elsewhere. I think a link to that info, posted in such a manner as to indicate that it isn't an endorsement by FAO (and even that is a real grey area) might be the way to go.

He has already done that and was promptly edited out by pkk.

Need to be a bit more pragmatic and less heavy-handed with these things.
