Perfectly possible. Caltrops, towers, rocks, drones, all can kill and be killed. More so, K + E is a 0-sum. Not to mention if you are out of base when your team resigns you get a eject on the system.

Caltrops and such add to ejects, and newbies who play for a while add to kills and then are gone from the leaderboard.
