Once I beat the missing iconbmp issue, I was amazed at the smooth gameplay. I had absolutely no issues. Well, other than Firestorm hunting down my SB...

Frame rate has decreased for me. Like the features, bad performance.

After decompression, file C:\AllegR6\AutoUpdate\FileList.txt_ wasn't the size expected. Perhaps FileList.txt in Lobby server's folder is different than one at FTP Site -OR- Newer file(s) have been added to FTP Site without updating FileList.txt.

I got thru the exploding intro, clicked free games it started to update, then....

Sorry, probably wrong topic.
I have precisely the same issue and have not been able to enter R6 via any of the methods described.

Hmm.

I had this issue and eventually got around it with a full re-install using the latest installer (this is far from the ideal solution though)

We need to look into this some more I suspect.

That error message means:
Filesize doesn't matchChecksum doesn't match
Make sure you use the correct CFG file (registry key "CfgFile" within Allegiance/1.1):
http://fazdev.alleg.net/FAZ/FAZR6.cfght ... AZ/FAZ.cfg
This error occurs, if you use a outdated or wrong CFG file (maybe you use a local CFG file).

Edit:
After some research, I can confirm my suggestion.

You both use abandoned FAZR5.cfg, that file no longer get's updated (since July 27th).

Dumb question:

edit. Reading fail.

Do I need to download all three of those pkk? Or just the R6 one... Not everyone understands the techno-babble in the track list!

Just change the key called cfgfile from "http://fazdev.alleg.net/FAZ/FAZR5.cfg" to "http://fazdev.alleg.net/FAZ/FAZBeta.cfg".

DooDee, plz meet me on the BETA server (not CDN) at some time that is convenient for you so that we can rule out a couple more possible causes before we make a ticket. I'm pretty certain you've found a bug, but we need more specifics.
