Because Horatio forgot to take the first pair off when he got out of the Hummer, but his contract states that at the beginning of every episode he has to put some on. ( Otherwise the film crew wouldn't know it's time for "YEEEEEAAAAHHH!" and the theme song ).

That show ruined me for "We won't get fooled again"!
It is also guilty of using an exessive amout of green and orange...mostly green.

What each CSI is really about:
CSI: Las Vegas
Before This season:
- Grissom uses bugs to discover useful information about a crime
- Grissom learns to understand a dark/disturbed person through his own suppressed emotions.
This Season:
- Somebody else looks at bugs
- Laurence Fisbourne tries to get inside a dark/disturbed person's head using psychology, or does something "Doctor-y" to save the day
CSI: Miami
- YYEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHH!
- Random shots of womens' chests
CSI: New York
- Using some bull Star Trek technology/algorithm obtained from post 9/11 grants to resolve a critical issue in the case. ( They have the computing power to run a freakin' Holodeck, but are curiously unable to copy the highly sensitive contents of a victim's flash drive, which is then stolen)

Someday we'll have newbies that realize in-game points don't have anything to do with our ranks
