KB is good because then your enemy is more likely to podkill you. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

It's blatantly obvious that you and me disagree, so just squash whatever attempt you have at making me look inferior and just close the subject. Instead, talk about why no one kills BIOS pods that have a KB over 17 knowing that they have a homerip. That pisses me off to no extent, seeing a BIOS pilot with a KB of 32.
I don't think we disagree. I'd like to drop it as well. Wanna go get a coke icee with me? I'm buying! /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

As I hoped I got some advice that I will use. I don't think the skill of dogfighting is rated as much as it should be. I have been podded enough times to know that mine needs improving. A good dogfighter who is on your team and using that skill for the team good makes the team harder to beat. The KB helps and a high KB and experienced dogfighter supporting on mission objectives even better. When I look on my list and see some players on my side I think win before the game even starts and this is because of their skill level and the situational awareness that was spoken of. Almost intuitively they give commands for things that need doing e.g camping an aleph for galvs, or a enemy tech base thats being sent out. There are some players here that must have me on there pod on sight list and some games it seems to be pod by thought due to how quickly I die.

Dogfighting as you stated neo is not the single most crucial skill needed and being weak in one area does not disqualify anyone from playing, enjoying or contributing effectively to the team win. The often neglected art of probing I will spend some time on this month July and give my team eyes to see.

Thanks again for the tips, this community=win.

CDTII, as it is labelled now, teaches you stuff in a specific order. That order wasn't just sucked out of somebodies thing.
I'm months past Cadet and still I'm following that order of bettering myself. Currently I'm only at Fig/Int part( mostly defensive), but more than not I fall back to the scout part and sometimes I jump ahead to the sf/sbs bit, all depending on the situation at hand. But I try to stick to that part of the order I'm at currently.

Maybe this could work for you too.

P.S. I have sigs disabled, so don't know whether you've done CDT. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
