Ah, but you see that match was on autobalance, and the Persian commander ended up receiving 269,976 (0)'s, which was, of course, the downfall of his team. This is because they all went out as basic swordsmen, when they really had advanced spears and chariots available to them. Such is the problem with noobs, they do love their swords.

Alex, meanwhile, got lucky, and managed to capture two entire veteran units shortly after they completed a squad game with each other; thus allowing him the opportunity to whore it up on the Persians, whilst leisurely selecting his desired finish of choice.

Alexander the great had a better trained army with innovative weapons and tactics. The macedonian phalanx was the IC mini3 hvy int w/all ga's and boost 3 of it's day.
