Look, I'd typically keep quiet about the settings but they're as basic as basic can get. Default default default. Standard cores, standard settings. I forgot what core I was using. I was practicing some comming skills and wasn't trying to do anything trick. There was nothing secret about what I did.

It just never got off the ground just that one time. I'm a software engineer too. If I could reproduce the bug, I would've told you by now. I've done the same thing several times since then and never had a problem. Go figure. Probably some weird timing issue or something.

If you had actually been in allegiance as a long as most people server crashes arent uncommon. Cores are the easiest way to crash a server. Sometimes the server just crashes because it crashes. If there is an issues with DN will Noir update it. Yes, when will noir update it. Probably in the next year and a half at the earliest.

Crashes will happen, finding the route cause is harder than anything.

Instability makes me sad.

I count two server crashes tonight (1700 EST - 1900 EST) so far.

There has be an issue with either one of the new settings (experimental) and or a core which is causing the problem. Can we please remove all other cores which are not DN, for a bit and see if it improves perhaps. This issue is getting serious.

Apoc, I did that for ~2 weeks and the server crashed just as much as it does now.

I'm hesitant to blame DN on this, because we have been running DN for a while, and these crashes seem to be an r4 related issue.

that being said, once 4.7 comes out, we shall see if it was DN

in Two weeks its fixed.. Not that there is anything to fix..
There is no bug.. Only lack of sacrifices, so i ordered 3 goats and 2 hogs from serb to sacrifices in the server room.. Its gonna be a mess but its worth it.
This will only be on the GPZ server.. serb say that there is some problem importing animals into US.

My little incident happend on feb 5th.I don't remember the details, but my team had just bombed thier tech base while they had launched a bomb run in a different sector to bomb our tp there.
I'm on 56k and was in a nan.Everyone was to rip to the tp to defend after the tec base blew.Just before it blew,I knew that they had it in the bag and initialized the rip.My hard drive immediately light up and my program stopped until the HD light went out....needless to say the rip was blown up by then.Too much co-incidence. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Never forget that intense and critical moments are also often the moments with most people on screen, with most data flowing back and forth, with most sound and video files being loaded. It is completely understandable, why crashes happen at those moments. Also, crashes in critical moments are much more memorable than those happening during slower parts of the game.
