Just so we're clear on things here - I think that everything in Alleg, DN and it's factions included, should be (and legally is) open for modification by anyone else.
I just think that if you want to win support for a new CC then starting with an absolute @#(!load of drama over "stolen" IP is going to severely damage your case.
Also if people don't want their work used in other cores then you should consider respecting that.
I don't claim to know the whole story (although I really want to find out now /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> ) but that's what I was meaning.
Kage - I personally don't think you'll get people off DN just with the lure of stats, but I for one would happily give CC a try. In the past there has been concern over "Splitting the community" into two small games as opposed to 1 large one. I think that this is actually what needs to happen now as we have so many more players.

the stats know which core a game was played on.
you can have separate stats for each core if you want.

you can not take the right to choose the battlefield from squads. the core decision can not be forced anyway - both squads have to agree on it. (i don't get it why are you pushing that particular idea anyway)
to me it's close to saying: only hi-higher counts for SGs.

Nice MP! So when a person logs into the lobby his rank would change depending on the core, eh?

What has the event, artwork or enforcement zone to do with a community core?! /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

What?! Did I misinterpret your intentions? If so, I apologize /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

I agree with madpeople, just have stats for each core (then if you want you could show the different leaderboards for the different cores or just show the leaderboard for the Community Core)

The Zone Leads are used as an initial sounding board. That was one of the reasons for them. Just like I use the @Allegs for an initial sounding board on ideas in the enforcement area.
My tentative support for a community core is as BV, not the ZL.

that is my thought exactly on things discussed with all ZL's
the whole point was that things were dealt with by people who knew about their subject area, ZL's dealing with other topics sounds like the senate, but only one of them gets to vote.
in this case it is up to the core ZL, since there is none, its up to dogbones to decide how its decided...
if i were say the art ZL, i would be very confused if someone started asking me about how long someone should be banned / was given an enforcer tool (why give me powers i don't need to do my job? )

EDITED.
MP, Would you reword your statement so it is more clearer? Or is this more what you meant?
"ZL's have no clue on anything else that involves Allegiance outside of their zone. I have no clue what a ZL is. They are not entitled to be asked an opinion by an Admin. They have a title and I don't. They have a tool and I don't. They really are not community leaders nor devote any time to keep this community working. I really never read anything Thalgor wrote or any of the discussion on changes."
