Angela Liu wrote:QUOTE (Angela Liu @ Feb 14 2007, 03:06 AM) totally offtopic but anyway: the newbie modiefier that's dropping my rank down (novice 4 currently) is based on number of games you played or on week? Just saying this because it's like my 13th week and i have no idea why i'm still on novice 4... And i've seen a Vet 1 on leaderboard whom just played 1 game and lost it. (can't remember who... no offence whatever who you are).
The newbie modifier is based soley on time since your account was created. If you saw someone go from (0) to (15) suddenly it's because they turned out ot be a returning vet.

I missed all the snow when I went home for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Makes me sad. I leave and 2 weeks later they get over 100 inches in 5 days. Stupid snow gods, they hates me.

Then it's the time you played or the time since you registered? I heard from somewhere (sorry if this is from @cadet... can't remember) that it is based on number of weeks since you created your account. Just wondering cuz the week before last week i jumpped from (1) to (4) and now i'm stuck on (4) for some reason (havn't changed in 2 weeks)

About 50cm actualy, just enough to screw trafic up real good.

And I'll be there this weekend with the wife and kids, at the waterpark in West Edmonton mall.

Yep thats right a whole family from the largest city in Alberta /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> up to see your little mall.
Besides is there really anything else there? /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

/ninja.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ninja:" border="0" alt="ninja.gif" />
actually it's snowing right now as i'm typing. Already 30cm right here.
And too bad i won't be here this weekend. Otherwise i would be happy to give you a tour around it. To be honest i got lost in the mall 3 times already in the first year i'm here so yah.

And you managed to pick the week with most ppl. There was a ticket sale in January that this weekend at waterpark the tickets are $5(canadian dollar) each. Normally it's about $13. So there actually might be a lot of ppl there.

As for "from the largest city in Alberta", i don't have time right now to check the internet. Edmonton got to be called capital for a reason... if Calgary's bigger let's just say i'm going to @#$%^
And besides there's actually a lot here. Check the Edmonton Website and see for yourself. I was at the National Badminton Champianship Finals last weekend. And i believe there's some really good museums and parks, too. I would have checked internet but don't have time right now so yah.

Anyway if you go by my house just wave (i won't be there anyway) /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
