For the briefest of seconds I considered actually engaging metz in a discussion of how parliamentary democracies work, how coalitions are built, and how historically the "parties in power" in both the US and other systems have largely been built of coalitions.

Anyways, metz, you should try looking beyond the surface. Maybe pay attention to how various people actually vote rather than what they say publicly, and pay attention to more than just the loudest of politicians.

I'll have you know Donald Trump graduated top of his class in the Navy Seals, and has been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and has over 300 confirmed kills. He is trained in gorilla warfare and the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. Iran is nothing to him but just another target. Watching the Manafort trial unfold is like watching a horror movie. Every twist and turn brings a new threat of the big bad rearing its ugly head. I can't help but shake the feeling Team Trump is about to jump out into the hallway and do somethin ghorrifying.
