For the briefest of seconds I considered actually engaging metz in a discussion of how parliamentary democracies work, how coalitions are built, and how historically the "parties in power" in both the US and other systems have largely been built of coalitions.
Anyways, metz, you should try looking beyond the surface. Maybe pay attention to how various people actually vote rather than what they say publicly, and pay attention to more than just the loudest of politicians.

Watching the Manafort trial unfold is like watching a horror movie. Every twist and turn brings a new threat of the big bad rearing its ugly head. I can't help but shake the feeling Team Trump is about to jump out into the hallway and do somethin ghorrifying.
