I don't think either way would be very funny, but at least that would feel more accurate to me. Trump's ignorance is only surpassed by his laziness, I have a hard time imagining him accomplishing anything. He's just a showman.

Liberal democrats are much easier to make fun of because they're always stupidly making public protests that do nothing for nobody

Yeah, I guess you're right. When liberals protest, I may not really agree with them, but their heart is in the right place, they do what they do from a misguided sense of empathy or whatever. It's easy to make fun of them.

When conservatives protest, like in Charlottesville, or at a Trump rally, there's so much hate and anger that I'm mildly terrified.

Millennial liberal democrats/socialists are all heart and no brain. Nothing they do matters or is beneficial to anyone, especially themselves. They are allowed to exist - despite their infinite stupidity and uselessness and lack of basic survival instinct - as a courtesy, or out of sympathy.
Their biggest concerns are selecting a sexual orientation and a gender and making sure everybody else knows about it and praises them for it while they post "hopes and prayers" on Facebook. Overly selfish, judgemental, hypocritical, self-serving, and self-righteous. Lack of character. Lack of discipline. Lack of knowledge. Lack of skill. 0 redeeming qualities.

The most useless an unproductive social group that have ever existed. It's disgusting. Couldn't fight or think their way out of a wet paper bag.

But this is what happens in a world of social safety nets, no real wars to speak of, or any significant survivalist concerns. When life becomes too easy humans can't help but make up ways to complicate it and identify enemies to blame for it.
