Sorry, where did you get law degree?

Is that what lawyers do all day? Look up definitions of words on Google to argue absurdities such as "keeping photocopies or digital records doesn't count as 'preserving records', it means original documents only"?

The ones I follow spend their time as a news rollup of stories like "man uses change of address form to get thousands of letters destined for UPS' corporate headquarters" or trying to figure out ways to say "taint" on national television or draw really silly comics about the law, and all of them are partners at their respective (often regionally famous) firms.

So... probably?

He will clean up nothing, he will just pass through, appear to have interacted with something important or make people believe he did something goodd and then leave more of a mess for the next guy. As he says himself:

"I play to people's fantasies," he writes. "People may not always think big themselves, but they can still get very excited by those who do. That's why a little hyperbole never hurts. People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular."

Someone just like you Globey :)

Yeah I really don't understand Trump worshipers. Or Obama worshipers. Or Hilary worshipers. Or anyone who claims a particular party, for that matter. If you're so blind and simple minded that you think that every action by a particular person/party is great simply because you decided that you like them, then you are definitely the reason why democracy is and always has been a terrible idea.

I'm forced to ask: are you aware that most people consider a "document" important because of the data it carries?
P1's version.. ..making a digital archive of an original document is "altering the documents from their existing state.."

What Wasp really said.. "The taping of the documents is altering them from their existing state."

If you need someone to clear that up for you, then you're more retarded than I thought.

Don't need a law degree to understand what is written. I posted the definition of preserve so as to demonstrate that taking photo copies, isn't the same thing. Furthermore, from the link Peet posted, the description of preservation is reaffirmed.

QUOTE Under the Presidential Records Act, the White House must preserve all memos, letters, emails and papers that the president touches, sending them to the National Archives for safekeeping as historical records.[/quote]
Doesn't take a law degree to understand what preserving means and what the duties of the National Archives are in that regard.
