Increased level of Mu turret from tac decreases sig and energy on fire? Until it becomes 50% of normal energy use and no sig increase on fire at 3?

yes, interceptors with 2mg turrets.
TBH though it would be sort of pointless when you could fly your own interceptor with its own hull points and whole 2-3 forward guns with its own independant seperate location.
I gotta say though that a heavy interceptor with a combined total of 6 PW Mini 3s would be rather entertaining to watch it single handedly hold off a bomber run, nans and all.
You need to give this faction a reason to use turrets rather than just a ship because of the fact it ties up to 5 people into one ship.
(unless theres somthing I missed the ships do have forward guns..right? or just turrets?)

My goal is ships to have 33% more firepower and 50% more hitpoints (using 2 players) compared to their single pilot enemy counterparts. Ints and the starting scouts were the toughest. /doh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="doh.gif" />
I know I haven't been around much, had to do with broken computer, then vista with new computer, then work, then vista, but now I'll try to be more active. Everything is looking awesome guys.

So, they have weaker forward guns, while the turrets are more powerful than normal? But does that really make up for the fact that thats an other person out in battle to get podded
Im not sure if you get what I mean exactly /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
Like.. on a scout, it has a turret stronger than its fwd gun. but you got two people tied up into one ship. Im not sure if the 50% bonus in hull will overcome that, maybe

That is up to Noir. Honestly the ships are ready, but will want to find new sound effects/ new weapon particles.. things like that.
Need:
F6 icon (in progress)
Faction lobby background image
Turret gun particles (I have been looking /modifying existing allegiance particles)
Turret gun sounds (I have found some, but if you know of any free sounds that would fit, I would like to know!)
More or less done:
Faction base ambient noise
Faction ships
Faction garrison

What about some of the Ur-Quan Masters (star control 2) sounds? I was tired the other day of the "auto pilot engage/disengage" voice and I replaced them with 2 sounds from UQM, just had to rename them.

If they are ambient noises/random sound effects I probably would not need them. But if there are some gun sounds, then I could take a listen?

-1 target instead of 2... it's a lot easier to shoot somoene that's shooting someone else.
-2 against 2... you will get 1 kill, you might not get 2. Which means you got 2 pods and they pick up 1?
- Enemy kill bonuses on good dogfighters will skyrocket (2 kills per fight?)
- 1 target instead of 2 for missiles? doesn't this mean reduced CM effictiveness?
On the other hand... some people are great turrets, some are great dogfighters... combine the two and it can be nightmarish for the opposition.
