PC at home (4 years old):
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+
4 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 280 (2 years old)
64 GB SSD (3 years old)
500 GB HDD

Laptop (2 years old):
Intel Pentium Core2Duo P8700
6 GB RAM
Nvida GeForce GTX 280M
500 GB HDD

PC at home needs replacement, but currently I don't know if I should do it, because I currently (and the upcoming two years) use my laptop more often than my PC.

My laptop:
intel i7 @ 2 ghz
12 gb DDR3
Nvidia Quadro 1000m
80 gb + 350 gb + 1 tb external
Cheap logitech mouse and keyboard
Cheap extra speakers since laptop speakers suck.

Designed for some scientific computing. Hoping it will run BF3 without issues, not sure if I have the card for it though.

I just discovered that my P4's HyperThreading was disabled.

Having just re-enabled it I am pleased to say that my computer is running faster than ever!

Built it myself early 2007 - couple of upgrades since.

Intel Core Duo something or other 2.13GHz
Vista Home Premium 32-bit
NVidia GTX 260 (man that card is huge, more like a brick)
24" monitor (died once & replaced on warranty :) )
3GB RAM of some sort
230GB HD (supplemented by a 500GB network drive where media lives to be accessible through the house)
DVD Drive
3.5" floppy disk drive :D
