No such luck. I created custom resolutions for both 800x600, and 1024x768, (both 60 Hz, 32 bit) and neither setting worked. That was a great suggestion, though. Thank you.
This is interesting - when I try to load beta mode, I get the following message:
Fatal modeler error: Could not open artwork file C:/Program Files/Allegiance/Artwork/ripiconbmp.mdl
I would assume this has something to do with Zero's /Artwork/ folder, but it is possible that it has to do with my regular fullscreen mode error as well.

ripiconbmp.mdl is used by the beta but not the normal one, it's part of a new feature coming up in the next version. Either you don't have it or it's corrupted, which is causing that error - but that wouldn't affect the normal version. It's usually a good idea to have the beta artwork separate from your normal artwork because sometimes the different versions will clash.

Switch to beta mode in ASGS and hit update/repair critical files.

I'm starting to think this is related to the install and not your video card/drivers.
Uninstall Allegiance from within control panel. Then navigate to the original install folder "Microsoft Games/Allegiance" and delete that folder as well. Then open your registry editor and hit F3 and search for the last username you logged into ASGS with. Once you find that name in the registry, look to the folders on the left side of that split screen and click on (Highlight) the "Allegiance" folder located just underneath "Microsoft Games", and delete that (just hit the Del key and confirm OK).
Close the registry editor and download and run
CCleaner and clean the registry of any remaining (unused) keys.
REBOOT! Very important!
Reinstall Allegiance as ADMINISTRATOR.

I just did that. Unfortunately it didn't help. That's a good idea, though. I wish that a faulty installation were the case.

If all else fails, format OS drive, reinstall OS and drivers?
It's tedious though, I've had to format my OS drive more than 12 times over a period of 2 years. Fixes several problems with my games though...
However, most of the times I've formatted the OS it was so I could play Alleg, that's how good it is (as long as there are 6 or more people on each team!)

Unfortunately I can't do that on this computer :/ I don't have the OS copy, because it was formatted and installed at a shop, and if I just purchased a new copy of WinXP SP2, it would be like having a new computer haha.
It would most likely fix it for anyone else though. Thanks for the idea.

I seem to have the exact same problem except I can get the game to work then after a restart it dies. After several reformats using inbuilt recovery that restores it to factory image, my best guess is that the problem occurs due to a Samsung supplied speed optimization utility, which defrags the laptop. If it is the defrag causing the problem then its likely your problem is related and has nothing to do with graphics settings. Except when it works in windowed mode for us n not full screen it only seems right for a graphics issue. Hopefully one of the devs may find a relation, and maybe just maybe we maybe able to find a solution.

Goodluck!

Hopefully

I'll look at my defragging stuff too bad I don't have Samsung laptop though or that would make this easy

I will definitely look at my defragging stuff though! Thank you for the suggestion.
