i thought i had to "graduate" afs first or something (i really only signed up as a prerequisite for cdt2

"Completion" is self determined. Although, occasionally, one of the instructors will ram you in the boosters to move on to Cadet II.

Could you help me get a proper setup for my mouse's scrollwheel? I want to set the scrolling up and down to setting my throttle, since using [ and ] doesn't allow me to go slow enough, and - and + are too fast to reliably set anything.
