I clicked it and saw it wasn't going to
http://www.freeallegiance.org/forums/* so I closed the tab and started a scan. Maybe my anti virus won't let me play Allegiance (please fix) but it nuked the tracking cookie that site stuffed on my computer. I hope it didn't put a trojan somewhere. (I hope IE8, Vista, my anti virus, or my router blocks that crap).
Although I don't know when the cookie was placed on my computer. It could have been yesterday even.
These noobs don't deserve to use the internet.
Solution to this that forum owners should make: NO EXTERNAL LINKS. Instead of a direct external link, it should go to an internal page which asks "Are you sure you want to go to that site?" with the URL displayed, and you click yes if you were expecting to go to that site.
The next IE should add this kind of feature too, where you get an "Are you sure" message unless you whitelist the site you are trying to navigate to.
EDIT: But it keeps coming back.

And if we Ddos the site, we'd be no different than they are, we'd be just as bad if not worse.
Though the spammage is just getting rather annoying; and its not just this forum - my own forums have been hit by this crud...
