That's what I was thinking of, yes.FreeBeer wrote:QUOTE (FreeBeer @ Mar 23 2009, 05:53 PM) You mean something like folding@home?![]()
'yt. I think I'll give it another try. ^_^
Edit: Er, actually I was probably thinking of rosetta@home, not folding@home.
It's another distributed computing project with similar aims.

Nah, take the whole title:
A trojan in Allegiance?
The good condom kind...

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.
Except that trojan condoms suck.

Don't find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.

Most "viruses" arn't malicious at all except to make you purchase the AV software. When was the last time you ran into a virus that deleted things? I have run into key loggers. But really, for the most part they are written by the anti virus companies to fuel business.
On another note, I wouldn't disregard the warning message from AVG. You don't have a virus FROM allegiance, you might have one ATTACHED to a DLL or executable file. Some viruses propagate in this way. I would Google the virus name and see how it works.
PS. Make sure you only go to sites like macafee or Norton or avg to get your a/v info, cause there are some sites that propagate viruses by advertising ways to remove them.

I now feel bad because I use my computer resources for useless stuff like finding aliens with SETI@Homegirlyboy wrote:QUOTE (girlyboy @ Mar 23 2009, 11:48 PM) 'yt. I think I'll give it another try. ^_^
