I'd have to say a joystick would be even better for dogfighting. Not only does it allow you to have a greater chance at success in a fight, but it allows you to use your mouse to click on the minimap sectors and check what's going on without having to remember the toggle mouse control thingy. Then again, spending money on a joystick so you don't have to remember one small detail may seem a little...unnecessary.
Meh, joysticks are more fun.

Mouse is superior in all aspects for aiming. It gives you greater control because it's not *stuck* in one spot. You be precise and move it slowly or whip it halfway across your desk to do a 180.

There are only two things you have to master to be an expert dogfighter the likes of drizzo:
1) make your shots hit (i.e. aim)
2) make the opponent's shots miss (i.e. dodge)
Actually if you really want to be like drizzo then you must also master the fine art of trash talking while doing the above two. But that comes later (unless you're neo in which case your trash talking will far exceed your skills and you will succeed only in encouraging everyone to pod you on sight).
Study and master these three arts and you too can be like drizzo.
Also, this:
QUOTE (juckto)My top dogfighting tip:
Why the $#@! are you dogfighting?
Last I checked, figs and ints aren't miners, cons, nans, bbrs, or htts. So why the hell are you wasting time trying to shoot them down?[/quote]
