OK for example
AllegSkills started with about 8 people who put in conservatively 40 hours each before RL things made them walk off. The others architects ( from KSero to Terra through the man, the myth, the legend, Baker ) put in hundreds and hundreds hours more. Now since it was voluntary and welp we had to learn @#(! on the fly it wasn't as efficient as a professional but results speak volumes to the work performed. If someone offered me $500 to perform even a 1/10th of the work I personally did on it I would politely decline the money. Truthful it wouldn't fund a single week of my time, heck barely a day of my time tbh. If your angling for how to improve things and have some money to throw at it Id say with all sincerity talk with TigerEye about updating the server side ASGS support software since it is getting creaky as hell.
Please gents stop bashing the @#(! out of him

I would get a full size working replica of every heavy interceptor in the game made up, and I would fly a different one to work everyday.
On sundays I would use my fully working Rix destroyer to cruise up the coast. I would have sex with most of the ladies I passed. I would hover over the bay and go dynamite fishing, and take all of the fishes, and octopusses, and sharks and other stuff that I didn't want to eat myself to the canine defence league shelter, so the puppies and grown up dogs could have a nice supper!
I would buy a whole tree of Chupa Chups with the change, and have one whenever I wanted it.
No, but seriously, I would use skyripper for the fishing. I would be too afraid that dynamite would explode me all up before I threw it out.

Look, what everyone is trying to say is that $500 would help offset the costs of running allegiance. It would not be nearly enough to start any further developments.
$500 is much less than is spent on keep allegiance running each month. If you have that spare please donate it but it would not be used for development but maintenance...

How about $2000?
Or $100,000.
1,000,000
PS: I just wanted ideas not jokes...

Now you're starting to get somewhere.
$100,000 would get you a year's worth of development from a very, very small team of developers.
$2000 would allow all the current software we use to be updated and maybe a hardware fix etc...

As for the remaining $550,000, I'd buy a giant gold necklace with a gold and diamond rix int on it.

Well in this case , i would get the proper boxes, which will cost a lot of money ,good internet connection probably multi internet connections, and help the TE , take some off aarm's shoulder , pay for programming lessons for the whole community so that they would help, and R5 , R6, probably R7 will all be released in no time, and a lot things could be done to community.
I don't remember when did that happened but i remember when i first came here i read somewhere that someone ( i don't recall his name) donated a huge amount of money to Alleg , i don't know why the number 500$ is stuck in my head but probably it was really 500$.
One last important thing to do for the community : still get BV a chopper only this time a better one , or maybe 2 choppers.

I'd spend it on running the cores.
