When are you going to get to the part when Weedman in his Heavily modified XT Interceptor with a 50kb kills all your fighters and blows all your bases?

Silly Camaro, everyone knows the XTackerceptor is only brought out to destroy planets or suns. Eerything else is a waste of time. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Day turned to weeks and weeks eventually to months, I had been working on my bomber for quite some time. It was of belter model which I always found the easiest to work with, sturdy and man made, not machine built like most other models. this made it easier for my to get into the guts of the ship and modify it to how wanted it. We stuck on a medium shield and broke out a few beers. Next I started working on a few unorthodox things for the Bomber, and added one more button cockpit.
The day had come, I'd finally finished, she lay there in the hangar bay with that of a Royal aura about her. Junk all about her sides as if bowing to her mere presence, and giving her space the essences of forbidden ground.
"Well, what the hell is her name?"
"what?" "you got to have a name, especially after putting in all that work into it" Souv like many other of my fellow BS came strutting out of the shadows.
"Well, I never put too much thought into it, but she's got a lot of majesty about her, and the mount of time and detail I've put into it I'd say shes something of royalty. So, BS-B Regal Barr. what do you think?"
Souvlaki stared at me for a second then he turned to the ship, then me again, "Yeah, uhh, your not naming any ship that aren't solely yours" he then promptly walk back into the far reaches of the hangar bay and exited through one of the dimly lit doors.
a few days later I was dozing off in the most tastefully decorated rookie's sleeping dorms, which had both cute little penguin decals and night lights at every corner... complements of Saramin, when I got called to the briefing room. I arrived groggy and still slightly drunk from the previous night. This chap Javaswiller was trying to get off the habit of coffee and felt beer was a better substitute. He drank all of us under the table and despite his drunken manner, still wanted a damn cup of Joe.
Pico was standing on the podium and I took my spot near the back.
"Recent reconnaissance has spotted ships of an unknown faction near the bordering sectors of our territory. We have engaged Alful to do further study of these ships. After, his first three missions we finally engaged something of incredible interest. Their bomber class ship while engaged in battle has demonstrated a considerable amount of endurance during an assault. No nanite scouts were used while assaulting a defended outpost of the Ga' Taraan. To be able to maintain a Shield of this strength on such a small ship it is believed that their means of power output must be greator than any bomber we've encountered. It is our intent to capture on of these bombers, the power output could perhaps be Modified and increased to supply enough power to Battleship, which... "
the screen behind pico zoomed in on an unfamiliar station
My eyes glazed over at the thought of getting that behemoth fully functional. Tigereye had been doing a lot of research on the matter but unless we literally tethered the thing to the Station we couldn't get enough power output.
"... Barrager will be taking his Bomber to take out the station where the bomber was last known to dock at. the Plan is simple enough, a crew will be manning a team of nans and Turrets, at which we will target station. Damage the station enough to provoke all ships to evac, once the bomber has undocked, finish the station off and attempt to disable the bomber."
Pico droned on, and I phased out the rest, excited I finally get to put her into action. I strolled out of the briefing room standing tall. I went to the Hangar bay where she was sleeping and started warming her up. a few sparks puffed out of the engine as she revved up. Hober Mallow and Jaeden both arrived shortly after, very reluctant to step onboard.
I heard em whispering "This thing'll never last the initial 5 minutes in space!"
I pretended I heard nothing and they eventually manned there positions in the ship. I had intalled an entire panel of buttons that did absolutely nothing just to I could feel like I knew what I was doing. so I pressed the autolaunch sequence then started pressing the useless ones just to make it look like I was a good pilot to my fresh passengers, but Both Jaeden and Mallow were looking at the qiant red button I had on the side of the dash board, near the Fuzzy dice.
After a few difficulty's getting her off the ground we eventually left the Bay and began the maiden voyage of the Regal Barr.
(not done the chapter yet... should get interesting depending on how well I can write fiction, and how detailed I can be)
