The anniversary game was insane... I only got to play for 15 minutes before real life needed me, but watching 3 bbrs and 20 nans come through an aleph was amazing...

This is how you played defense in Anniversary games:

Launch EVERYONE in sector being attacked until it goes into overload. Keep it up until sector overload kills all attackers.

cross nanning is a good counter to that tactic

The real solution to that would have been more teams.

Want bigger games? Log on to play at the official game time: 9pmET/8pmCT/7pmMT/6pmPT every day of the week. Also Saturdays 8pm UTC.

Insectus would go giga Luxy scouts, and have people nan each other while their AC turrets tore everything apart.

What are the numbers these days? (Mostly concerned about PUGs, I guess)

(Also, is this "ASGS Users Online" thingie working correctly, because I swear I saw 0 and 3 players the last 2 times I looked)

It depends. Games typically start small (<5v5) and stay small. "Prime time" is no longer a consistent time and usually only lasts for a game or two with around 8v8-10v10. We've nearly exhausted alleg, but small nuggets of fun still exist from time to time.
