Half the fun of bein a nan is getting your ass podded by desperate defenders as your bbr takes out their garrison without a scratch.Encabulate wrote:QUOTE (Encabulate @ Mar 8 2007, 06:00 PM) speaking as one of the noobs potentially in question:
i will not turret. (doesn't sound fun to sit my fluffylicious tush inside a big target heading into enemy territory)
i don't like the idea of nanning (doesn't sound fun to sit aforementioned behind in a lightly armored target orbiting a big target)
i would rather deprobe and probe a sector to ensure that the aforementioned targets don't turn into points for the enemy.
Definitely Noob turrets as we all like to shoot @#(! and you need a good nan on any run unless its a stealth run.
Personally if your stuck for choice, get an awesome turret gunner like me /doh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="doh.gif" /> and a noob, then get an awesome nan like me /doh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="doh.gif" /> and a noob....problem solved.

Give a man a fire and he is warm for a night.
Set fire to him and he is warm for the rest of his life.

If I had the option of putting Lee, TMC, Globey or Gluteous in a turret or in a nan, I'd go turret every time.

I'd say a veteran nan is better, but what do I know. The turret is never a problem for me, though. Just line up the sight on the target thing and shoot; don't shoot when no one's around as to not get eyed. Just need to get better at noticing when they want me to attack a certain target other than what's closest.

/blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> I do that all the time. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" /> OMG im a noob.sages wrote:QUOTE (sages @ Mar 8 2007, 12:17 PM) newb on turret= eyed during a previously uneyed run because he wanted to shoot at his friend
