More often than not, you won't even need your nan.
But when you do... and you don't have it!

Well, in my limited experience, I can't count the times i've been out just probing midgame when i hear "Need Scouts"/"Need Repairs" (ie. Bombrun, more often a bombrun that recently ripped closer to the enemy), i love the fact that i can jump in on it by just ripping to it (yeah, i know, i got no prox, but my objective is to nan, proxing is secondary [satisfying one, but secondary]) instead of having to rip home, dock, change loadout, launch and rerip.
Makes me so grateful nans don't run out of ammo (energy regenerates). Hmmmm.... how about that for a unique faction nerf: a nan that uses special ammo... or energy stored in cargo (batterys?)... so that a nanned bomber has a definite ammount of hull, depending on the ammount of energy mounted on the scout.

The only time I've loaded a nan in the past few months was once to do a tp2 drop and the other was to nan a miner in a squad match.

Done.

This is a question that has perplexed me for a long time when trying to learn this game. My conclusion was to always carry a nan. There are many reasons for this and many have already been mentioned but to me I can best sum it up as.
Carrying a nan frees you up to go defensive or offensive with a single stoke of a key.

Of course, if you go GT you'll never have this problem. Maybe this is why I got GT so much....
Of course, there was this one game I told the guy to nan the con, and he goes, "I don't Have a nan."
"Your GT, you come with a nan on the scout"
"I took it off, it was slowing me down."
I was speechless....
always bring your nan along

That reminds me... I need to stop nanning nix pilots! /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> I forget this at least once a nix game. I see damage and my first thought is to repair it.
I always bring a nan. More often than not, I need it even if I didn't plan on needing it.
