The software HUD mods should work fine if you uninstall CortUI and reinstall it with the default software gui set. (it's an option in a drop down box during installation.) The recolored software hud uses the default files, and if you use Raveen's or the other one they actually use completely different files altogether. I'm actually still working on a mod to Raveen's hud on and off as time permits. Note: I believe however that you can use the default hud with the target view at the bottom and the recolored hud would work except that the section of the hud at the bottom around the target would be the default colors.

That's very interesting, fishbone. have you tried it?
And Azaron, what you are saying is that it should work? I am not reallt that familiar with the cortUI.

What I was saying is that the conflict between the recolored gui and CortUI's software hud options is that all of the options CortUI offers other than "default software hud" use different files entirely so that when you install CortUI with one of those optional huds, it installs a modified dialog.mdl file that points to those other files and completely ignores the default files, which is what the recolored hud uses.
Basically this:
When you install CortUI, at the bottom of the third screen of the installer, there is a place to change the style of the software hud. Your options are "Default Software HUD", "Default Software HUD with targeting view", Modified Software HUD ('Raveen Style')", "Modified Software HUD ('Parci Style')". Now what I am saying is that if you install CortUI using one of the firtst two options, the recolored HUD will work (I have it set up this way), but if you choose one of the other two options, it will not because it doesn't use the same files.

Yes...and I love it. A good mix between functionality and aesthetics.

at the start, it should show you clicking on the icon and asgs appearing, the screen remaining still for several seconds while listening to the narration is kinda boring.
though i think they know how to start asgs, something explaining about which team to join would be more beneficial /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> (i assumed you were getting to that, though people may not get that far after watching the first few secs, "omg i know how to start 4lleg1ance, i roxx ar starcraft"
other than that, good /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
