In that light, if one of these sides leaves the others will be very lonely.
I don't think you realize how many people people actually make a parallel between the way Pook/Thalgor is taking the allegiance community and the way Bush is taking the USA.

I disagree completely. I have a VERY hard time believing that only 5 people think the way Night does right now. I also know that the people who disagree with what is happening are not posting NEARLY as much as the people that do agree with what is happening.
Want real proof? Find some way to get the TS logs (impossible) from last night. There were a good 15 people minimum (out of like 20 there) saying the same things. If you think that this is limited to the TS croud only, you are sadly mistaken.

Well might as well not bring up the numbers then. The significance of Deng's "5 people" is it's pretty much evident to everyone where those 5 (ok I don't know what the deal is with Vulp, so 4) people are coming from - in other words, it's nothing new under the sun, business as usual. Whoever does have a problem with the admins, we know how they feel. I can assure you that both sides learned something from all this friggin drama (which I followed from start to finish, thanks to my timezone) and this will not happen again.
Kumquat, via TeamSpeak, asked that this be posted, as an attempt at diplomacy. I'm aligned with nobody, I only believe everyone needs to be heard. People who have dedicated so much of their time, their lives, and efforts, to this game, need to be heard. If that gets me banned, so be it.

That is why I have done what I have. I'm not out to "get" the admins or have
them step down or anything like that. What I want them to do is back off a

We may have asshats but for the most part they are constructive asshats.
Night will take people under his wing and teach them as long as they show
they are listening. I have seen him have remarkable patience in teaching as
long as the newb is receptive. I have been involved with the Cadet program
since they first let squads send an advisor. Before that I worked on the
Allegiance Antimatter project.
Psychosis is a very level headed thinking man who I have grown to like very
much. Even though he was originaly kicked out of XT (and I voted yes just
for the record that we should kick him out) I would take him in now in a
heartbeat. Aeris and I have been at odds a long time and he still stood with
us.
Some people may see me as some @#$%@# who just insults people but that
would be a very wrong impression. I have always worked for this community
and now I have been working to right what I perceive as wrongs to my
friends.
Again, Im not asking for the admins to step down, I am asking them to pull
in and go back to being a benevolent force that punishes evil doers who
cheat and people who torture newbs. I have never done this kind of stuff and
never will. I will almost always let a newb on my team if he wants it and I
will help anyone who asks and listens.
What I see through my eyes is a power trip that is upsetting a lot of good
will in this community. Perhaps I let my anger get the best of me sometimes
and my posts could be better constructed without some attacks but I am who I
am. I'm 27 and likely not to change. I have said what I have said because
the things that make me the most angry are people having their ability to
speak and to be free of reprisals even if the admins don't neccesarily agree
with what is said. It was raising my hackles all week and then when they
deleted Psychosis's post it exploded. I am still angry from that and see it
as a gross breach. The admins should be respect not feared. People should
not feel they have to tip toe around and watch any criticizing remarks for
fear of being banned. That is what is going on now and I still stand defiant
in the face of it. I'm not about to give up my position for fear of banning.
Call it the Jewish in me. I refuse to cowtow to what I see as facist like
tactics. Please note I do not say that as an attack but as a simple
statement of fact. That is why I am doing what I am. The fact that we were
ever banned for trying to point out that the admins have taken things too
far is very pathetic. I expected better from all of you.
Add on: They have now removed my ability to post. I think this all proves my
point very well.
