Please don't pull the rankings out entirely just cause Noir's being a dink.

If it's going to be a pain to put them on the ASGS server, maybe we could move the text file from server to client?

So anyone could alter them to say what they wanted to, ala the old resources definitions?

It'd satisfy everyone, and let the children be childish without turning off new players...

I find this whole thread somewhat ridiculous. OMG he changed "Intermediate" to "Voob"!!!!! WTF was he THINKING now all of those newbies are going to run away because we are all such EVIL BASTARDS!!!!

To be honest, I found it funny at first when I saw myself as Voob(3). then it irritated me. I'm fine with Intermediate - OK, I don't know the numbers by heart and I can't fight my way out of a paper bag with an int. But Voob? No thank you, I don't want to be insulted every time I look at my friggin nick.

I give a @#(!, and I ask that the ranks be reverted to what they were before.

Intermediate offends me and makes me feel insulted everytime I look at my nick. I prefer Voob over Intermediate.

I took the original rank list, and added a "Veteran" tier in order to increase the number of ranks.

That's how the list went out, that's how the ranks are stored in the DB.
