I'm with madp. We've got a great momentum and enthusiasm for this but resisting to the end of the month will be problematic.
So go for the #1!

keeping on voting consistently every month will become tiresome. win it while we have the energy and interest
also, don't take the predicted votes as what will happen for more than a few days, they just take the amount the votes changed the previous day and then assume it will continue at that rate. also, i think the games generally get more votes on sundays.
i could do something more complex for vote rate, e.g. find the rate of change of the rate of change of votes, then make a predicted rate of change, then predicted votes based on that. but things don't seem to not follow a strict vote rate pattern (ours followed a exponential growth at one point, but we cant maintain that, i predict tomorrow's vote rate to be slightly higher than today's, but we wont keep increasing much further.

Extrapolating values for something of this nature is bad mojo. With that said let's get a better grade of horse puckey /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Do a runnning average for better accuracy.

Yep. We've got a great momentum and enthusiasm for this but resisting to the end of the month will be problematic.
So go for the #1! Even because we're #3 now.
FYI: Bootleggers last month won with 5000+ votes.
