we should have a one hour delay and be broadcasting at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/freeallegiance

Das very kindly assisted me with the final details and getting the audio ready to go. The quality isn't quite what I hoped for, but it works. The live feed will be available until ONE HOUR AFTER THE GAME STARTS. I'll post back here about the time we start the feed.

Will it be recorded or can it be for listening/viewing later?

I don't want that time to be a @#(!-storm of hate and schadenfreude.

the file has downloaded to my PC this morning and I'll be working on doing commentary (hopefully during lunch) and then letting it compress/render and all that jazz . .likely overnight . .and uploading tomorrow . .or as soon as it's done, which ever comes first and I'm awake to see:).

But where did all the epicness go?
I decided to relive the days gone by in my new blog.

no, i don't:(. The only recording was being done by the DVR software that crapped out. Lesson learned, record into multiple places wiht multiple devices. The rig I was using was just toooo complicated with too many possible points of failure. I'm completely giving up on the "delayed" broadcasting thing, sending back the parts I ordered, etc. From now on, it'll be only one point of view and either be completely live (recorded by ustream.tv for posterity) AND fraps'd with commentary included or JUST fraps'd with commentary and uploaded later.

The whole "delay an hour" thing is what killed it . .the process was just too complicated.
