it won't, why would anyone want to join a squad that has a gigantic thread in general talking about how it is dying, god knows who for a cadet rep, and their only active player that i can see is cheezits

More squads gives this game more diversity.. I would rather have that then a few big fat squads..
Why would anyone join fat squads, where you don't even get to play squad games... I would quit, and just play pick up games.. after all its just another game on my Harddrive.
Only the most persistent squad members get to play 5 of 10 squadgames, only 3 of 10 squad's have a high attendance at squadgames that they have to leave many players in NOAT.
If you wanna plays squadgames.. join small squads.. its 100% guaranteed that you get to play.
Most squad are trying to get a good team of players playing squadgames. Even the "high" profile squads are trying to minimize the lose of players by recruiting by the dozen.

I would suggest the 2009 "I got lag" whine or the "i think i got a life.. somewhere" thread(btw, that thread is in Rant).

I believe SF makes sure everyone gets to play, suck or not. Don't they rotate players every week or something?

We don't have any rule on the topic (God bless), it's more like something that happens naturally. Or at least that's what I see.

Attendance is usually taken and those that haven't played in a while that show up get to play. The Command Staff tries hard to make sure everyone gets to play at least 1 if not 2 matches per month. It's been our policy since day one.
