Ironic ways to not get booted: Be AFK for more than half the playtime - Go off and die on sector boundaries twice, go AFK with the enemy having two sectors and come back with us having those sectors, and not be booted.

Boosting in an int to eye a TP that just built, then podding yourself on it because it appeared at 500m when you were going at 250.

Sadly, I've done that a couple of times now.

Volunteer to pilot an htt when no one else will do it...then get booted because the aleph was camped by 1 scout.All because the commander was pissed off that no one was listening to him during a late night game.

OK,I have been informed that the comm told me not to go into the aleph.I will now make sure to stick to my usual roll of nanite scout as I have a "read the chat" ADD type problem /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

We're down to one sector, making pointess bbr runs to their tac next to ou sector. Though pointless it's still a point of honour to do this. I resort to having turret fun, making vengeance on all those ugly GS's who podded me while i was in a scout.
Comm goes boiling point when seeing 6 people in base and another few just flying around our base instead of supporting yet another bbr run which i am turreting. The bomber dies.
My KB of 35 earns me a podkill. I get back to base. Even before death animation is over - i am booted.

Apparently the comm was avenging the dead bomber by booting everyone who was in base when it died.

Lesson to learn:
High KB can earn you a boot.

Owch... that totally stinks.

I'll be sure to keep my KB low if theres alot of base sitters then.

Scouting a sector with my lt int that was next to our op (I figured at least one out of the three scouts also launching from the op would be scouting the unexplored sector and lend me an eye), and finding (in the following order):
One helium rock
Two regular asteroids.
One enemy miner.
One enemy voob.
One enemy lifepod.
One dead enemy miner.

I also found an aleph in my pod once.

And found an enemy bbr with 3-4 nans hiding behind our aleph while he waited for a 2nd bbr to attack our garr from a 2nd aleph. I cloaked and rammed the bbr through the aleph into our camp. Podded myself but it was worth it for the lols.
