Spunkmeyer by trying and trying again. You want something you will take those developers into a few games during prime time. Let THEM think and poke around and show your insight, and to get them in touch with the vets, and also the newbies (yes they sometimes give you the best info to keep players).

Most of the past efforts in-house has been scuttled time and time again because of politics and life, not anything else but that (and some maaajor bugs that came up organically). There could have been a Linux port which I could have been owning you on by now, but I don't have the years of xp on that, and the ones who do have been busy with other tasks, or lost any interest. There is/was also the Quantus project which you can reanimate if you wish.

On that note, I'll be poking around this desktop to arse something next month and do upgrades as necessary. Dual-boot if all goes well. :)

Think about this. Even after all the BS that has happened over the past few years in my life. I am still here willing to put in some fly time. Why hope for a mass when you have a cadre of dedicated people in their various ways? Let them see the brotherhood and comraderie I saw, combined with the sheer amount of collective brainpower present (sometimes ;) ) on the forums. They will stay and contribute how they can.

There's just no market for this game. Any smart investor can see that.
and if i had a penny for every negative post you made... i'd probably by a boat so i can sing "I'm on a boat"

You calling a news station complaining about their "making negative news" is the equivalent of your response.

It probably would work out better if the trolls got banned. Then maybe this community would actually get more things accomplished.

Mine got deleted too and neither had any reason to be deleted. Guess we have the "thought police" working behind the scenes.

In response to your "nicer" question...

Just because someone posts things that you find to be "negative" does not make them the "maker of negative posts". Posts are just posts and it's up to the reader to determine what is negative or positive. If you find them too unbearable to stand, skip over them. If you wish to control what other readers view by suppressing them, then I suggest you join the "thought police".
