I finally scraped the money for a gaming rig, but I want to wait for Haswell to be released. I've joined and like the live chat, but I don't know how soon I'll be getting my rig.

You still got until november before the alpha so Haswell should be widely available by then
I am waiting for Haswel myself for my next build too.

There's not long left for those who've not bought it yet to get a ship with life time insurance. I think there's going to be a sale of fancier Origin 300i ships soon though.

I'll be playing it a ton. Every new announcement Roberts makes, makes me more excited. It sounds like my dream game. I got the Origin i300!
